Steven C. Toschi

Steven C. Toschi is a founding member and managing partner of Toschi, Collins & Doyle, APC. Mr. Toschi has tried more than 70 civil jury trials to verdict and has spent more than a year in his life in the courtroom, in trial concerning cases with very complex medical issues. Insurance companies' Special Investigative Units seek Mr. Toschi's counsel to assist them to effectively identify, prevent, and resist multi-claim healthcare fraud. He has expertise in anti-fraud litigation in real estate and other business transactions and also defends first and third party liability claims throughout the courtrooms of Northern California. He received his undergraduate degree in Politics from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1983 and his law degree from McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento in 1986. He is a member of the California Bar, the Oregon Bar, the Alameda County Bar Association, Northern California Fraud Investigators Association, the Eastern Alameda Bar Association, and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada. Mr. Toschi was awarded California Super Lawyer in 2008-2011.

 

Wayne M. Collins

Wayne Collins is a founding member of Toschi, Collins & Doyle. He is a 1968 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and a 1973 graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law. He was admitted to practice law in California in 1973. Mr. Collins has handled cases in State and Federal Court through all phases of trial and the appeals process; specializing in personal injury, products liability, auto, homeowners, construction, admiralty, false arrest, slander and premises liability claims, extensive trial and arbitration experience. He is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada.

 

Gregory M. Doyle

Greg Doyle is a founding member of Toschi, Collins & Doyle, A 1974 graduate, University of California, Berkeley, and a 1979 Graduate, University of San Francisco School of Law; Mr. Doyle was admitted to the California State bar in 1980. Mr. Doyle specializes in personal injury, products liability, premises liability, construction defect litigation, environmental and earth movement/landslide cases, bodily injury claims and real estate law; with extensive trial and arbitration experience. Mr. Doyle is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell and a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California.

 

Deidre M. Siguenza

Deidre Siguenza is a 1995 graduate of University of Washington and a 1999 graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law, Ms. Siguenza was admitted to practice law in 2000. Ms. Siguenza specializes in personal injury, premises liability, construction defect litigation, and toxic torts with an emphasis on the defense of transportation industry clients. Deidre is a Member of the Martinez Unified School District Governing Board and the Contra Costa Bar Association.

Austin L. Houvener

Mr. Houvener is a 2010 graduate of the University of Washington and a 2013 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. Mr. Houvener specializes in civil litigation, including auto liability, personal injury and bankruptcy law and is licensed to practice in California. Mr. Houvener has been selected as a Northern California Rising Star in the field of defense litigation for 2017 and 2018. He is an active member of the Northern California Association of Defense Counsel, the Anti-Fraud Alliance, and the Alameda County Bar Association's Trial Practice Section.

Mona L. Bauer

Ms. Bauer is a graduate of Cambridge University, a 2005 Graduate of John F. Kennedy School of Law, and admitted to the California State bar in 2007. Ms. Bauer specializes in civil litigation and auto liability defense and is licensed to practice in California and District of Columbia.

Jose L. Reynoso

Mr. Reynoso is a 2011 graduate of University of California, San Diego with a degree in Economics, and a 2016 Graduate of University of California, Hastings College of Law. Mr. Reynoso specializes in civil litigation including auto liability and personal injury.

Nathan Ellis

Mr. Ellis graduated from the Montana School of Law with High Honors, ranked 3rd in his class. He has worked in the defense of injury claims for two years. He has an undergraduate degree in Professional Aeronautics. He previously was with the Air Force and has a pilot’s license.
